No VAT for an intra-community supply

On orders of business customers with a valid VAT number issued by a country in the European Union, not being the Netherlands, we can apply the 0% VAT rate. The order must be delivered to a country in the EU outside the Netherlands (intra-community supply of goods). We check the provided VAT number in the public VIES system of the European Commission. It is necessary to register an account in our store in order to buy at zero VAT. When using the "Guest checkout" an account will not be created and the standard VAT rate will be applied. 

A valid EU VAT number is required for an intra-community supply with zero VAT. When registering a "Business EU not NL" account in our webstore or during checkout you can enter your business EU VAT number. With a "Business EU not NL" account the 0% VAT rate is automatically applied to an order in our webstore.
