Mounting and connecting an electrical product and our service

Many products we sell must be physically mounted. The basic installation materials are almost always included. For some products there are specific brackets available for mounting in a ceiling, on a pole, wall or corner, etc. or a mounting box for wiring or a flush or surface mounted housing. We also have all these optional accessories available for the products we sell. The product and any mounting accessory must be correctly assembled and mounted.

The installation of a product usually means that the product must be physically mounted and must be connected to the local network, a power supply and/or control signal of for example an alarm system, access control system, electric lock, external chime, siren etc. A power adapter is sometimes included with the product in case the product cannot be connected directly to the mains. If a power adapter is not included a suitable power source must be used. A suitable power supply can be ordered separately in our webstore: we offer suitable power supply for all products we sell. You can also use your own suitable power supply. Examples of power sources are: 230VAC mains, wall plug adapter, solar panel, low voltage distribution box, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), PoE (Power over Ethernet), access controller.

Incorrect installation can lead to damage and a very unsafe situation

Because our customer service takes place remotely we cannot determine the exact situation on site. We therefore cannot provide specific remote installation instructions or advice about, for example, the connection to a power supply or other physical integration or mounting. An incorrect installation often does not work and can also lead to damage to products and a very unsafe situation.

In case of insufficient knowledge and skills we recommend that you engage us or another expert installer for the installation on site.
